City Dog Park
Hours of Operation: Sun-Up to Dusk

Rules of Use:
  • County Residents must be registered to use the park annually.
  • Age restrictions
    • Children must be 12 years old and must be accompanied by an adult to be permitted inside the park.
    • Children under 12 years of age are not allowed in the large dog area.
    • Children under 5 years of age are not allowed in the park at all.
  • Dog owners must remain in the fenced area while their dog is using the dog park.
  • Make sure your dog is well-behaved and well-socialized. Aggressive dogs and dogs in heat are not allowed in the park.
  • Pay attention at all times and know where your dog is. You must be in voice control at all times.
  • All dogs must be leashed until safely inside the dog park and returned to leash prior to exiting.
  • Make sure gates are closed after entering and leaving the park.
  • Do not permit your dog to dig holes.
  • Age restrictions

    • Puppies under 4 months of age are not allowed in the park.
  • Current tags must be worn on the dog's collar at all times.
    • Dogs must be licensed and vaccinated for rabies and DHLPP. 
    • Absolutely no spiked collars are not permitted within the dog park.
  • Owners must dispose of waste properly in the designated on-site containers.
    • Seal waste in provided plastic bags before disposing.
  • No smoking or alcohol allowed in the dog park.
  • No more than 4 dogs per person allowed on any single visit.
  • Owners are liable for any injury or damage caused by their dog and are fully responsible for their dog's actions.
    • Recognize that by bringing your dog to the dog park, you are accepting a degree of risk that your dog may be injured or may injure another dog.
  • Do not enter the dog park when staff mowing, or machinery is present.
