Councilman Michalski was recently elected to his first term in office in 2010. He currently heads up the Public Works Committee and sits on the Finance and Personnel Committee.
A lifelong resident of Dunkirk, he plans to bring a positive and professional approach to solving issues facing residents and city government. "I believe that in order to be an effective councilman, one should have an independent voice, listen to the concerns of city residents and present questions on issues when they arise."
